Brilliant Design, Poor Quality, June 23, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Vaude Rock Ultralight Backpack (Black) (Sports) This is not made to sit and be looked at, or maybe it is. The simple design is wonderful (9/10*'s). I can fit 3 pants, 6 shirts, a tent, a sleeping bag, gloves, hats, hygiene care, medicine, rope, a hammock, and water/food in it. The plastic internal frame is, fine (7/10*'s). But after using this to hike for three months throughout the Sahara desert, and Europe, it tore everywhere. The material is thin and weak (3/10*'s). Even for daily use this back will break eventually. Even crammed with less things this pack will tear sooner then you like. For that reason I would not recommend this bag, even though I really like most of the design. In the end materiel is what you are paying for. They should have sacrificed having a heavier bag and have a bag that will last.
