I own a 15" Macbook Pro, and it safely houses it with about as much padding as my previous InCase zipper bag. The front stores about a weekend's worth of clothes (tightly), and unless your toiletries are just a toothbrush and a couple travel size bottles, it won't hold much else. Overall though, it suits my needs and looks great without being bulky. I'm a 5'6" female with regular build, and I don't feel as though it looks too tall on me. Like the first reviewer, I was also disappointed in the color. It is not bright blue or even regular blue. It's definitely navy, but I still intend to keep it. If you're a fan of Timbuk2 like I am, (barring color) it's yet another great product. Lots of compartments, safe laptop housing, and adequate space for a quick weekend trip. I use it for daily commute to work. Hold my 15' laptop safely and a lots of files too. plus comfortable on my back. though a little bit too big for me....as a 5'5''female. but I love it. I've biked with it, walked with it, taken it on planes, buses, and car rides. It's been packed to the brim and it's been half full. It's been in rain and hot sun. This thing shows absolutely zero signs of wear and tear. It's really impressive. There's a bottle opener on the right strap. Seems like an unusual touch, but I thought it was cool. The handle at the top is very thick and grippy, not like some of those thinner straps that cut into your hand when you lift a heavy bag. I'm pretty delighted by this backpack, and I'll think of Timbuktu when I buy a new bag. They say that they're bags are built to be very durable, and from what I can tell, their bags really are tough, stylish and sturdy.
