I Love this bag, September 5, 2011 By This review is from: Marmot - Urban Hauler Backpack (Misc.) I travel alot and wanted something to put groceries in and to take on the plane or to work. The large size is good and well made. I am thinking about buying another one. I thing this will be good when you just need an extra bag to put things in. I plan on taking this bag with me everywhere and I think it may just hold up to my "rough" handling. Also this bag has two pockets which is an added plus. This bag will be good when I need to take my laptop on a plane and needed something to be able to quickly access my things. Great bag.

There is a external zip pocket with a vertical storm resistant zipper. It lays flat against the inside front of the bag and is rather spacious - it nearly spans the whole front face of the bag. It is tethered inside at the far bottom corner to the bottom of the bag interior.
The second zippered pocket is inside and lays flat against the inside rear of the bag, with a horizontal zipper. It's wider than it is deep, and generously sized to hold wallet, PDA, and more, without being cramped. There is also a tethered lanyard with plastic clip for holding on to keys. It's larger enough to fit a hand into, but not so large that you still have to fumble around for what you seek.
There is a grab loop on the top which is handy, and also helps when pulling the top open to retrieve items.
