Very particular but functional, July 20, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: HMG Stuff Pack (Misc.) This is a very particular pack (because of the material it is made, and the form of the pack).
This is a EXTREMELY light backpack, but it is very simple. If you are not in the "minimalist mode" may be this pack is not for you. It have not purses, divisions, attachment points, even zippers! But this is what I was looking for: a pack where the weight is the weight of my things inside, no the weight of the pack, and I like to travel light, but with my computer mini backpack, with my Apple MBA inside.
It looks strong, it is extremely light, and it is a middle sized backpack. Check if it is what your are looking for.
It looks weather resistant, but I've not used it in rain, when rain happens, I will review my review

Kind of pricey, but worth it for us. Designed for backpacking/mountaineering where weight is critical, and it packs to about the same size/weight as a bandana. We ended up using it as the "extra luggage" you always end up needing when you travel somewhere that has great shopping. Beats dragging along (and paying for) an extra piece of luggage on the trip out. Almost as tough as "real" luggage, at a tiny fraction of the size (when folded) and weight. Oh--and you can use it for backpacking, too.
