DONT BUY IF YOUR TALL., March 16, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Snugpak Rocket Pak System, (Misc.) Everything on this pack is awsome, the only thing is the the hip belt rides high due to its military capabilities. Maybe for a pistol belt/duty gear, if your torso is short then it will fit you a whole lot better. I also bought one for my wife, fits her great! One more dig, the yoke system really isnt all that it's made out to be, kinda half=ass.. Overall pretty good.

heavy duty zippers. I like the large zippers because they don't
get gummed up with sand and grit like the small zippers.
Heavy material. The rockets will hold more than they look with the
compression straps let out all the way. I use an MSR seagull 1.0 liter
cooking pot and it fits flat in the bottom of the rocket.
The bucket style all open main pack will hold all I need for an extended
period of camping. The only draw back I can see is that it could use more
exterior loops sewn on to lash canteens or small items. Other than that
I am very satisfied so far. I will leave an update after I get a chance
to use it for a while.

do not buy, May 8, 2012 By This review is from: Snugpak Rocket Pak System, (Misc.) i am a marine in the infantry and bought this pack before deployment, i ended up throwing it into a burn pit. maybe this was because i only wore with a flak on, i discovered the pack was fundamentally designed wrong, the top of the shoulder strap has no adjustment, that being said it is a tall pack with improper shoulder strap placement, so no matter how tight you tighten the the straps the pack merely hangs from your body. not recomended
