It'll work out, August 9, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Military Inspired Stylish Backpack Canvas Day Pack Black (Misc.) I like this bag, it's as described, with all canvas and brass-looking buckles for closure, and the top has a draw string to close it up snug. The inside is lined with water-resistent material, and has a zipper pouch that has quite a bit of room. I was hoping it would fit my 16" laptop, but it's rather snug when I have the sleeve on it. I don't think I would use it for my laptop. The straps are kind of short, and are "buckled" to how short or long you want them, but they are kind of short. I think I may end up tying them together to use as one strap. Don't think I would recommend this for a college student, if you have to carry around a laptop, but for high school it would work out. I may end up just carting my laptop around in its sleeve.

I've had trouble with the straps. I ended up sewing them together, and I'm hoping that will solve the problem, as the "buckles" they were adjusted with kept losing the strap and it would drop off my shoulder - with my laptop... Read more

The backpack is cute, which is why I got it in the first place. That's the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. But other than that, it has been the worst quality backpack I've ever had. I wasn't expecting that due to the fact that it's canvas, and that is a very durable fabric
The straps started to fall apart only a week into owning it. The inside lining is falling apart. I literally sat down and re-sewed in every single seam in this backpack because the string is soooo weak. It's fallen apart on me randomly MULTIPLE times.
I was EXTREMELY disappointed in this backpack. And it was really sad, because I held off on buying a backpack else where because I found this one at a reasonable price and thought it would "last longer". I guess I know now not to buy anything that says "stylish" in the description title. *sigh* ): ):

I ordered this backpack on Friday the 6th, and received it today the 11th! What a quick ship! I took it out and was immediately pleased with its size. I am a high school student and wanted to use this backpack for my books; this backpack is the perfect size! not too big, not too small. This bag has a little edge to it which I like and the buckles are super cute. I highly recommend this bag because of its cheap price and it's succeding to meet my expectations. Hope I was of help!
