Good pack, January 15, 2013 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Khaki Vintage Canvas Retro Balkan Exploratory Rucksack - 18 x 12 x 7, Travel/School Backpack (Misc.) I bought this pack to use daily, It is a little soft for my use, I expected something a little stiffer. It is made well but the zippers are a lightweight plastic and I hope they hold out. The pouches work well for my use and there is plenty of room in the pack. It has two seperate compartments for large stuff and a pouch in the front section for a wallet or cell phone. It also has a pouch in the flap which works well for small items or wallet or cell.
Overall it is a good pack but I don't recommend this for kids. The zippers will not last and it is not designed for kids. Only for older teens or adults who will take care if it and not abuse it. I will get some good use out of it.

This bag when I received it was made well. Stitching is all complete (no loose threads hanging anywhere I could find) and there are plenty of compartments for all your gear. While I haven't stuffed it to the brim and taken it through a torrential downpour it has fit my needs for what I have used it for. I plan to spray it with some CampDry so it is more water resistant but other than that I am very pleased with this purchase.
