The quality is superb and the style cannot be beat. There is not a single piece of plastic on this thing. It's waterproof and has tons of interior pockets. It's small enough to carry every day to work but it will still fit everything you need. I love it!

Super back pack, January 6, 2013 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kelty Cycle Hiker 18-Liter Pack (Sports) Ordered this for my son for Christmas - on his specific instructions. He is delighted with it. It is really well made - particularly the way the straps are attached - metal fittings so not likely to break any time soon! It is just the right size for his laptop and has loads of little compartments inside which he says are really useful for bits and pieces that he wants to get to quickly. He is at Uni at the moment and now uses it daily and when he travels home on the train. In the summer he is doing some travelling around and has already said that it will be ideal for that. One final thing - it had to come from USA - and I was amazed how quickly it arrived - about 5 days after ordering it and that was in the run up to Christmas - so all round excellent bag and service. Just read the other reviews and cannot understand the person who says that it is thin material - our one was definately not!
