I'm so glad I made this purchase. First, the color, all black is perfect because it soaks up stains and doesn't draw attention, so it's not a likely thing to get stolen. It's also very heavy duty. The zippers held up perfectly, and the straps were actually very comfortable. The best thing of all is the size. It's small enough to use as a carry on baggage, which means you don't have to waste time checking baggage or picking it up at the airport. Yet somehow, for being a a carry on bag, the amount of stuff that fits in there is amazing. I had two pairs of pants, five shirts, 8 pairs of socks and 7 pairs of underwear, along with a 10 inch netbook laptop in it's own day pack. All of it fit into the backpack, with some room left over. Well he has this backpack for a year and it is still going strong with not even a rip or tear. I wish I had thought about this years ago and I could have saved me some money.
