I have always been a backpack kind of girl, and I take them pretty seriously. I've always had great customer service and experience with Jansport, so I was reluctant to try another brand, but because I couldn't find any "serious" daypack style backpacks by Jansport in the stores near me, I started to branch out and look at other brands. I had read good reviews on the Osprey packs and when I saw one in person I was really impressed. Additionally, the company boasts the same type of customer service Jansport does (lifetime repairs and replacement, etc.)
My husband and I took this bag to Europe with us for day tripping, and it was incredible. It has a fantastic amount of pockets, all in the best places. On the inside it has a sleeve for a laptop, and then another sleeve right in front of that that perfectly fit my iPad. Then the main compartment (in the same compartment as both of those) has a huge amount of space...we fit a Clik Elite... Read more

It's a perfect size/weight for a carry on with just the right amount of pockets. Padded shoulder, chest, and waist straps make this an easy backpack to carry. Holds a lot but can look less voluminous if you cinch the outside straps.
Side mesh pockets don't hold 12 oz. water bottles securely. Lost two water bottles on this last trip.
