The North Face Alteo 25 Reviews
Love love LOVE this backpack, November 13, 2012 By Jamie (P-Town) - See all my reviews This review is from: The North Face Alteo 25 (Misc.) This is my first experience with a trampoline suspension on a daypack, and it really works. The bulk of the pack sits off your back, and the highly ventilated fabric of the trampoline allows for plenty of airflow. This has been great for warm and hot weather hikes. The pack itself is a typically thoughtful North Face design, and the construction is good quality. The shoulder straps, chest cinch and waist belt allow you to adjust the distribution of the pack's weight, and you can easily change it up if your shoulders or hips get tired. The small pocket on the hip belt is a terrific place to stash things you want to get at without taking off the pack. The water bottle pocket on the side can be a bit tricky to reach with the pack on, but not impossible. About the only thing missing from this pack is a lower compression strap, but with some thought to your packing, you can live without it.
