I use this pack to carry about 30 lbs of gear with me into work five times a week. I walk about a half a mile with it each day. So far after almost a year of service, its as good as the day it was bought. No fraying, no zipper issues, no tearing.
Its not cheap but in this case you get what you pay for.
On the down side, it looks like you have a window air conditioner strapped to your back. Its BIG.
EDIT: November 2012. Still used 5 times a week just as I said above. 3 years of daily service, and still looks great. Outstanding quality! How odd is it that if it was cheap garbage I would never buy another one, and since its so darn good I won't need to buy another one either. Doesn't seem fair does it, to punish success? Just kidding SOC, keep up the good work.

Gear - BLACK (T27 SEC D RW 2) (Misc.) it's a great pack to carry a serious load -- easily swallows up a weekend+ worth of gear. it carries at least as much as wheeled 22" roll-aboard luggage, but you can hoist it on your back and keep your hands free. durable construction. fantastic kit!
