Great Pack But Not The Right Fit For Me, May 1, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Gregory Mountain Products Serrac 45 Backpack (Sports) I'm a big fan of Gregory packs and this one is definitely high-quality, lightweight and full-featured. Unfortunately, I had fallen in love with the air-flow design of the Jade 60 prior to purchasing this but I went with the Serrac for the lower price. After loading up the Serrac and walking around my house for a while my back began to sweat and the difference between this and the Jade 60 was really noticeable. Not to mention, the Jade 60 is a woman's pack and I missed the extra padding at the hips. I'm sure this would be a phenomenal pack for many folks but I ended up shopping around and finding the Jade 60 for just $20 more so I'm returning this guy to Amazon. I will say that the Serrac easily held my lightweight gear including tent, bedroll, propane stove, rain gear, sleeping bag, hammock, mess kit and it still had enough room for some clothes and food. It definitely would have been able to handle my load for a 2-4 day camping trip.
