Great for Running, March 31, 2012 By This review is from: Gregory Fury 16 Backpack (Sports) I purchased this pack because I was looking for an alternative to CamelBak, to carry water while I was running. I was an early adopter to CamelBak packs, but their fit has become worse and worse over the years.
I'm 5'9", 190 lbs, and Medium Gregory Packs have always fit me perfectly, the one exception being the Miwok 22.
The shoulder straps on the Fury 16 are perfect. And, the elastic waist strap is really outstanding.
On runs, I don't usually like waist straps. But, the elastic design on the Fury 16 provides great stability, and you won't even notice it.
I'm using the 3L Long-Neck Water Beast bladder in my Fury 16, (http://www.camelbak.com/Military-Tactical/Accessories/Long-Neck-Water-Beast-Reservoir-100-oz.aspx). And, it is a little bit big, but still fits, even when it is full.
