Purchased this to replace a worn-out school backpack, son goes through backpacks about one every four months. It arrived quickly and after unboxing it I was quite pleased at how large it was, loved the color pattern (multi-cam) too. Compartments were very large and roomy.

Second day of use the left shoulder strap ripped at the seam attaching it to the pack (attaches to the top of the backpack between the back side seam and the top side seam). The seam is less than a � of an inch wide and is only single stitched. I couldn't return the backpack because I had already marked his name on it. We remove the right side strap from the weak seam stitching, pulled the webbing up from both sides of the "carry" strap and had a seamstress sew both shoulder strap ends to either side of the carry strap (under the webbing) for strength. It was better, but wasn't enough (I could hear the seams starting to rip) so I ended up setting six rivets on each strap to make it more secure... Read more
