This is a simple item - an insulated bag to keep your hydration bladder cold (or hot, if you're into that). The really good thing about this particular bag is how solidly made it is. You can thread a nylon strap through the mountings on the edges and use it as a free-standing hydration pack. With the sale price from Powderfin Outdoors, that little trick could save you about a hundred dollars over buying a ready-made pack, and it's insulated, which most ready-made packs aren't. Another useful feature is the fact that a 3-liter bag like this will fit not only 3-liter bladders, but 2-liter and 1-liter sizes as well - plus ice packs or maybe a sandwich.
