It is the perfect size for an all day hike or a short overnight trip.
I love all the extra pockets on the side, which are hard to see in the pictures. Helps with organization!
I also really love the ventilation in the back panel. Even if the pack has a lot of weight in it, it feels like you aren't carrying a pack because of how cool it stays. The hydration sleeve holds my 2 liter bladder very well, and even has a velcro strap to hold it in place.
My only complaint about this pack is minor...it doesn't cinch closed all the way in the main pocket. I think this is due to the width of the frame in relation to the size of the pack. It cinches pretty close, and the top pocket covers it so that it isn't exposed. I do feel if I held it upside down and shook it stuff might fall out. Thus, I would not use the while rock climbing upside down. Since this is not something I commonly do, I am ok with it.

I was very pleased with my pack; it fits well and didn't cause any "rubbing" on the shoulders once I learned to fit it properly. I purchased it to walk "the Camino" across northern Spain. An added mesh pocket on the front would be a nice added feature. I was often asked about the yellow flower as to its meaning, which gave me the opportunity to explain the SL feature for women! I would recommend this pack.
