Perfect for 3-4 day trips!, April 15, 2012 This review is from: Dakota Backpack - (Black) (Misc.) I purchased this backpack a couple years ago on Amazon but never wrote a review on it and found it again looking for bigger backpacks and decided to write a review.
This backpack is PERFECT for 3-4 day trips. 3 outside pouches and all have adjustable straps with the snapping buckles. I can fit at least 3 bottles of water in each pouch. I usually use 2 pouches for water bottles and the middle for my body wash, deodorant, and other stuff for cleaning, and can fit 3-4 days worth of clothing inside the main compartment with other items such as a first aid kit, extra pair of boots, snacks, survival knife, and many other items. But you must know I am very conservative when it comes to utilizing space being that I was in the military before and have been deployed to Iraq back in 03 and learned that less bags is more. Excellent buy, April 5, 2013 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dakota Backpack - (Black) (Misc.) This backpack is huge and definitely suits my need! I'm currently in college and have to lug around a bunch of heavy textbooks that pretty much destroy less-sturdy backpacks. This pack is amazing. Even with all of my things loaded in, there's still tons of room! I love it. The pockets aren't velcro'd or zippered, so that's unfortunate, but not enough to make me like the bag any less. It'll be perfect for when I travel by plane in a few months.
Great Small Rucksack, June 30, 2012 This review is from: Dakota Backpack - (Black) (Misc.) So I own this bag. from my research its a 25 liter rucksack. I use this for a lot of different things but primarly my edc bag. it can carry a gallon of water plus poncho liner and buttpack, with room to put a set of clothes. the outside pouches hold atleast six granola bars or alot small stuff plus small binoculars a pouch. it has strong plastic buckles. It is cotton and not rain restistant at all. I like it. give it a try. I bought a 20 liter dry bag for my clothes and other stuff needed, and still fit my poncho liner but thats minus the 1 gallon water jug. but then again i can put the liner under the top flap and still carry a gallon jug.
