Its longer, can carry a lot or a little, with side straps to pull the pack close in and flat. It has a small metal frame and stiff padding to give good structure and support across the back.
I tried the smaller packs like the heli 20 liter... but on me (I'm 6'6') it just looks like I stole a 6 yr old's backpack. This is long enough to look normal on me without being huge and bulky. And lets face it if I wanted to bring layers or a change of clothes for my size a smaller pack would be a difficult option.
I love the reservoir feature, and the back of the pack that rests against your back has a panel in the middle that can zip open to give you quick access to the inside of the bag. The flap that opens out has two pockets for a phone and camera, etc. Easy access to everything.
The charcoal color looks sweet! I must say the picture shown is true to color but is super tidy, I have straps all over the place on mine. There are... Read more
