Excellent backpack, February 18, 2013 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Black Diamond Axiom 30 Backpack - 1700-1950cu in (Misc.) This is an excellent backpack for short trips where you do not need to bring very much.
It's very comfortable to wear. In particular I love that they put pockets on the hip belt, and the adjusting mechanism for the hip belt.
The top is closed like a waterproof bag, but the backpack is not waterproof. This makes it a little bit time-consuming and difficult, especially in cold conditions, to close the bag. On the other hand that is what makes it possible to remove the lid from the backpack completely.
In short, I love the backpack. I don't love the closing feature yet, but it has it's pros and cons.
