USMC Digital MarPat ILBE Assault Pack by Arc'Teryx Overview:

The Improved Load Bearing System (ILBE) backpack was created for use by the United States Marine Corps. The system was created by Arc'teryx's Law Enforcement and Armed Forces (LEAF) program.
Its standalone capacity is 1,500 inches of cubic space with a load capacity of 25 to 40 pounds.
Hunters and outdoors persons, the pack has a Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) grid which allows various smaller items to be attached such as knife sheaths, flashlights, holsters, arrows, and ammunition pouches.
The standard measurements for an Assault Pack are approximately 6? deep, 12? wide, and 18? tall.
They are equipped with two quick release, padded shoulder straps that are connected by a chest strap as well as a 2? wide waist belt with a quick release buckle.

Truth is in the reviews. You have to get the bag from the right seller. I ordered a main bag as well as this assault pack from Allegheny Surplus Outlet, Inc and both were in near new condition. I just ordered another set for the girlfriend she was so impressed! Cant beat the quality or price. Keep in mind you will need to get some MOLLE packs and a hydration system.

I can't really say anything good or bad about it as its a bob...will take hiking and hunting when it gets warmer but quality looks very good...cannot tell it was used whatsoever.
