Fits a 4th-Grader very well, October 13, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Osprey Kid's 25-Litre Zip Daypack (Sports) While doing a bunch of back-to-school shopping, our daughter tried several types of backpacks. She could not find one that was useful and durable. None fit and all were quite expensive. After shopping around we went with Osprey. Great backpack that is properly sized for kids. The built in emergency whistle was an instant hit with our daughter!
She has been using the backpack for about a month and it is doing just fine.

Her school is very outdoor focused and they walk and hike in the woods often. She needed a comfortable pack that could hold her water bottle, lunch, rain gear, etc. This pack fits the bill. It is the right size and she reports it is very comfortable. She told me it feels like she does not even have a pack on when even when it is full.
