The quality of this bag is terrific. I also use for short work trips around the US. Plenty of space and offer good protection for laptop in the laptop sleeve. Having a side handle and the ability to zip up the straps is a plus when you decide to check the bag. Straps are comfortable.

I took it on an 8 day trip to Thailand and used it together with eagle creek pack-it systems. I could fit in everything i needed.
I was initially thinking of buying the 70L or 55L pack but neither could fit the cabin luggage specs.
I'm glad i got this one, because it forced me to pack only the essentials. It made traveling much easier especially when using public transport.
I use it for weekend trips as well . As with other Osprey products it provides excellent hip support.
