Great Quality, Classic, a bit Pricey, April 9, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fishpond Arroyo Fly Fishing Chest Pack - 150cu in (Misc.) This is a great Pak with a lot of thought and quality put into it. It was a bit pricier than some of the others out there, but I always shop for the best value in a quality product not the cheapest price. This definitely fits that criteria and I am sure I will be able to enjoy fishing with this Pak for years to come. I would recommend this product and any of the other Fishpond Packs.

Nice pack, well organized and laid out, July 30, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fishpond Arroyo Fly Fishing Chest Pack - 150cu in (Misc.) As a western river fly-fisher, I have been hesitant to give up my vest. Recently I saw the wisdom in having a hybrid solution that joined a vest and gear necklace. In giving up the vest for a chest pack I have researched companies looking for the best solution for myself and decided on the Arroyo.
This chest pack is nice for holding my flies, floatant and other misc. items together in one place. I was able to use it today for the first time and it was great as a hatch came on and I changed tippets and flies and it was all close at hand in front of myself. For the amount of fishing that I do on the local rivers this pack offers a nice way to organize the items that I need most while leaving space inside for the necessities.
The Arroyo's long-term durability will have to be tested over time as I am retiring a well worn vest of twenty-years that still has life in it.Other features that are nice are the size, and the layout which make a nice "grab & go" with all the necessities... Read more

Great product. Compact and versatile with a nice amount of storage for its size. My old vest was too much while working the banks along AK rivers through tall and thick brush. This product is easy to get around with.
