The mesh back was very important to me. Just finished my third day long hike since getting it. It wears well as I continue to get used to how to fine tune it to my body. The only reason it is four stars instead of five is the lack of detail on all the uses and what the pockets are best for. I have not been a hydration bladder user and I'm still trying to figure out if the bladder goes in the side pocket labeled H2O or in the large pouch located inside the main pack compartment. Instructions were on a very small tag (2" x 4"), hard to read and see what feature is being referred to. Overall, very pleased with this Backpack and Amazon service is always excellent!

Holds enough for a one or two overnighters. The mesh one the backside makes carrying weight very comfortable. Many pockets offer good organizational storage. I think any female hiker will love this backpack.
